Finally, long time no see-RIM back in the news! RIM is all set to launch its debut Slider Blackberry smart phone very soon. The new model features Slide-out keyboard and may come out with AT&T. After such a long time, RIM comes back with its new Blackberry smart phone which spread excitement and happiness among BlackBerry users. The company has not revealed the model name yet which is a big search on the internet.

The new BlackBerry smart phone may come out with touch screen and all new features loaded BlackBerry 6 operating system. In addition, it may feature HVGA touch screen, physical keyboard for easy and comfortable writing, optical track pad, 512MB of RAM with 4GB of in-built storage.

In terms of connectivity, it may feature 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and email support. But the picture has not been cleared yet on technical specifications and its name. Some trade analysts are predicting its name to be 9800 but all in vain because RIM has not confirmed it yet. But it has been rumored that AT&T and BlackBerry have started sending invitations for a grand BlackBerry event which may held on August 3 in New York City. Perhaps, this event will talk about its new Slider BlackBerry smart phone. Now the picture will get cleared only after August 3rd about its name, configuration and everything. But one thing is sure that BlackBerry is ready to regain its lost space in this smart phone league.
