Motorola ties with Kodak for camera phone
August 28th, 2008 | by Pallavi Dinesh |In its best attempts to win back global market-share Motorola is hoping to cash in on the huge demand for high mega-pixel and high quality camera phones that consumers are demanding. So, they decided to team up with photo-industry guru Kodak for its latest phone Motozine ZN5.
The Motozine ZN5 was launched in India yesterday and boasts a super fast, 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus, a Xenon flash, 4GB of optional external memory and optimised settings for low-light environments.
“With the Motozine ZN5, we allow people to unleash their power of curiosity, creativity, impulse and play, whenever the mood strikes,” said Ian Chapman-Banks, Motorola Inc.’s Corporate Vice-President and General Manager (Mobile Devices) for Asia.
Motozine ZN5 combines Motorola’s ModeShift Technology and KODAK ‘Imaging Technology’ which will result in quality images while still allowing full flowing creativity from the person taking images. And with Kodak Easyshare software and easy access to the Kodak Gallery or other web sharing pictures’ sites you can print, share and enjoy photos whenever wherever.
The phone will be available to Indian consumers sometime in September for app. Rs. 20,000 (app. $450).
