Pre- Pre Launch Syndrome

It’s Pre Weekend at Sprint and customers are supper excited and enjoying the Palm Pre all over the US. We’ve heard that the Pre’s software is impeccable and the camera works flawlessly. So I guess these people had some reason to a bit crazy. All the buzz about the Pre really gave some people “PPLS” (just made that up) before the launch of the oh so popular Pre. In Chicago, an woman couldn’t wait to get her hands on the Pre that, she drove her car into a Sprint store a day before the launch.

Luckily there were no other customers inside, just the two employees that ran for their lives when the “accident” happened. policemen and the fire dept. got to the scene soon afterward and took the lady to the hospital she only suffered a few scrapes and scratches, but the store did not fare so well.

Also, the Palm Pre was being sold on Ebay, prior to it’s launch. It was being sold for just $900 and you wouldn’t be able to get it and use it until the launch date. No, they are not GSM Pres either. Surprisingly enough, there were some overly eager peeps that actually bought this item.

So in these people’s defense, the Pre is totally worth it. So enjoy playing this video over and over again to really get the full effect. I’m off to a “drive thru” Sprint store to snatch my Palm Pre!
