HTC Tattoo comes out just before Motorola’s big Android event

While Palm is busy announcing the Pixi and dropping the price of the Pre, and Apple is on the verge of launching its new line of iPods, and Motorola is gearing up for its big announcement of their new smartphone(s) lineup in San Francisco tomorrow, a well known tiger in the smartphone market, HTC, quietly rolls out another HTC Android device. Unbelievable right? They are simply unstoppable!
The HTC Tattoo is going to be a great Android device because its going to be for FREE. The device channels similar features of the HTC Hero and also has Sense UI for customizing your smartphone as per your ‘profiles.” That’s right, that’s what I said. The unnamed carrier that is going to pick it up for the overseas market is going to offer it for free and I’m sure lots of people have high hope that the same will be the case in the US market. And, it’s not that the phone is weak, in fact it’s awesome.
Here’s some phone details after the jump. Now tell me how is Motorola going to be topping that tomorrow?
The stylish HTC Tattoo is small and compact, fitting snugly into your hand or pocket. People are able to design and purchase their own unique covers or search and select from popular cover designs, altering the look of the phone to reflect their mood or individual tastes.
HTC Tattoo integrates Google’s innovative mobile services including: Google Maps, search, Google Mail, and Android market where users can download thousands of popular applications and games. It also comes complete with a broad variety of hardware features including a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory.
