Samsung INNOV8 is the company’s latest smartphone for the GSM market boasting an 8 megapixel camera (hence the name). The Innov8 takes the shape and form of a slider handset with a 2.8″ LCD capable of displaying 16 million colors; it is designed to give the user the best possible photography, video and gaming experience on-the-go. The Innov8’s big thing is of course, the camera, which is a photographer’s dream cell phone. A cellphone with a camera that offers image stabilization and blink detection (won’t take a picture if someone blinked), smile detection (won’t take a picture unless your smiling), and face detection. The camera also takes panoramic photographs. The Innov8 is also capable of recording QVGA video at up to 120 frames per second and VGA-resolution video at up to 30 frames per second, and you can edit with Movie Maker and Story Board applications. Enjoy listening to what you’ve created or the built in F.M. radio with the external dual speakers and surround sound supported by DNSe 2.0. GPS technology and Wi-Fi complete the package, did I mention there is an 8 megapixel camera. The Samsung Innov8 launched in Europe in August and will expand to other markets during September.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Â
