Was it just carelessness or a carefully crafted media scheme? Whatever the reason, Palm put up images and information of its latest secret device - the Palm Treo 850 - on their web site recently. In 2009 Palm fans will get a chance to get the new Treo 850 — a.k.a. Treo Pro . It has a 2.4-inch 320×320 resolution touch screen, microSD expansion slot, camera, QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1.

Most likely it will be on the 3G network since they will be after Apple & RIM’s marketshare.  The phone also has a 3.5mm headset jack, micro-USB jack for transferring data, and a built-in radio.

Although not officially confirmed by Palm, the Treo Pro will first be available for AT&T and T-Mobile networks.

Palm has not publicly announced this device.
