Comparison of HTC Touch Pro and Touch Diamond
November 18th, 2008 | by Pallavi Dinesh |I went to the Sprint website to browse for a smartphone for holiday gifting. The options are a bit limited with this carrier for a good all around phone and the two best ones that I saw are coincidentally made by the same company, HTC. Check out this link for full list of Sprint’s smartphones.
So, the price difference between the 2 phones, with a 2yr contract, of course, is $50. The HTC Touch Pro regular price is $579.99 (minus $180 instant rebate and $100 mail in rebate) which comes to $299 for the phone with a 2 year agreement. The Touch Diamond is $549.99 (minus a $200 instant rebate and $100 mail in rebate) which comes to $249 for the phone with a 2 year agreement.Â
What really is the difference between these 2 devices? Not that much when you compare them side by side on the Sprint website. The only benefit for the HTC Touch Pro that I see is that it has an external memory slot, which can make a difference if you run out of memory on your phone.
