BlackBerry Bold on halt in Japan

Just a week ago the BlackBerry Bold became available to Japan on the DoCoMo carrier, and just to rub it in to T-Mobile users faces, the Bold in Japan was packaged with a fourth band of 3G. But the spiteful can rejoice, because the Bold is for the moment no longer selling in the Japanese market due to overheating issues while charging. The exact nature of the problem hasn’t been uncovered or released, but the overheating issue seems to thankfully be isolated to the Japanese marketplace.
The Bold seems to have had a rocky start in more than one place, but hopefully things will smooth over for the Japanese consumers quickly.
