BlackBerry Storm 2 coming in October?

The Blackberry Storm 2 rumors are at an all time high, and one of RIM’s co-CEOs has officially confirmed that the next generation Storm is indeed in the making, though he did not give out any details regarding the release date of the rumoured Storm 2.Â
As the current BlackBerry Storm model has badly failed in almost every aspect to outsmart the Apple’s legendary iPhone 3G, and now that the iPhone 3GS has been rolled out into the market, Blackberry has no other option than keeping pace with them.
So, everyone’s expecting the Storm 2 to hit the market within next 3-4months, probably somewhere around the month of October, right before holiday sales start up. However, nobody really knows what’s happening inside Research In Motion’s R&D labs, though various crappy images of the Storm2 have been leaked (none of them have been confirmed by Blackberry or RIM).
The current BlackBerry Storm is almost a joke without WiFi, not to mention its awkward SurePress click-screen and stands nowhere close to the iPhone 3GS, so you can DEFINITELY expect to see WiFi, an improved camera and a second-generation TruePress touchscreen in the Storm 2.
Lastly, you may also expect a better pricing than the iPhone 3GS, but the other improvements are still a mystery. Let us wait and watch what RIM finally comes out with, but don’t bet your money on its release, as Blackberry has never been able to keep up their promises in recent times.
