BlackBerry Storm 2 to come with Wi-Fi

Word on the street is that BlackBerry Storm 2 will not only be a revamped version of the current Storm device, but it will also come with Wi-Fi and probably a brand new screen. Obviously, this is a smart move, and probably a much needed improvement by RIM, because a smartphone with the calibre of Storm doesn’t feel complete without basic communication features like Wi-Fi. 

Moreover, with loads of impressive smartphones around, it is high time that RIM planned to launch a 5 mega pixel camera powered BlackBerry device in the market, and they are of course hoping that BlackBerry Storm 2 is going to be the hot choice come holiday shopping season.

Moreover, with Palm Pre and iPhone 3GS brining out so many promising features into the smartphone arena, Blackberry must come up with nothing less than a stellar product. And definitely something better – and we’re guessing that it would be the brand new screen, and few other secret goodies under the hood that may help the BlackBerry Storm 2 conquer the market.

In any case, Wi-Fi and a powerful camera are the top most things on the cards of RIM, and probably a revamp in design as well as the screen may be seen in the BlackBerry Storm 2 too. I can’t wait!
