BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac Users Available October 2

Today’s announcement now allows for Mac users to have a reliable solution to syncs their contacts, calendar appointments, tasks and notes with their BlackBerry devices. In addition this Desktop Manager will also allow you to add and remove applications, schedule automatic backups, encrypt backup files and install software updates for your BlackBerry smartphone.
The new software is scheduled to be available for free download from the BlackBerry website starting on Friday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m. EST as per the press release.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager software is designed to run on Macs running OS 10.5.5 and higher and BlackBerrys running BlackBerry OS 4.2 and higher. Last but certainly not least, this new software integrates BlackBerry Media Sync, so you can sync iTunes music with your BlackBerry.
