The Asus Padfone Infinity as well as its Padfone Station tablet dock is now officially available in pink, a move that may suggest that Asus is planning to attract some more females to its strange offering. The Padfone Infinity still packs its 5-inch 1080p touch display, 1.7GHz quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera and 2,400mAh battery whilst the Padfone Station packs a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 pixel resolution touch display with a tasty 5,000mAh battery.
It remains to be seen when the device will roll out globally, but the pink is said to have gone on sale already.
GSMArena got their hands on some pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in it’s mix of red and black hues. The device features a brand new design, with some key distinct features found on the Xcover series. The device has been confirmed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.9GHz in each of its four cores, it also packs a full HD 1080p touch display of unknown size.
More details remains scarce, but should arrive in time for the device’s launch sometime in the near future which may be accompanied by the Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy S4 Zoom, both more rumoured smart phones coming from the South Koreans.
Samsung has been known to add quite a few colours to their smart phones’ line up during their reign on the market, the latest addition seems to be heading straight to this year’s flagship; the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has proven to be one of Samsung’s most spectacular devices to date despite woes with its 16GB model’s lack of storage space. When it first launched, Samsung said that it would be available in Black Mist and White Frost, but no other colours were revealed. Now, a leaked document from a Japanese carrier has revealed a new addition to the line up, the Blue Arctic variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The new variant is expected to be announced on May 15, that’s just two days away, with it launching on NTT DoCoMo first, sadly it continues to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 sporting unit.
It remains unclear as to when the new colour will be added to the global line up of Galaxy S4 devices, but it shouldn’t take too long knowing Samsung.
The Sony Xperia ZR comes in as a smaller version of the Xperia Z with mostly the same features, but in a smaller form factor. The Xperia ZR features a smaller 4.6-inch touch display powered by the BRAVIA Engine 2, it features a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 2GB of RAM and loads of connectivity features such as Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi. The Xperia ZR features the same 13MP camera as the one the Xperia Z comes with and thanks to its IP55 and IP58 certification it can go for a few dunks and dives to capture the underwater experience in full HD videos or 13MP stills.
The Xperia ZR comes in black, white, pink and mint and although specific pricing has not been revealed yet, it is expected to go on sale before the end of this quarter.
The Motorola X Phone may be one of the most controversial and mysterious smart phones set to launch this year. The Motorola XT1058, set to launch soon on AT&T, has just passed through the FCC and may prove to be the X Phone.
The Motorola XT1058 is set to launch soon, as pointed out by it passing through the FCC. The device sports LTE, NFC and stock Android, and since it has a higher end model number than the XT912, which has leaked several times already as a midrange Android smart phone, it may prove to be the illustrious ‘XFON,’ the name expected to be officially linked to the X Phone. Speculation has suggested that the device may launch at next week’s Google I/O developer conference.
The X Phone may prove to be a resurrection for the ailing Motorola which has lost quite a bit of market share after Google bought the company. What do you think the X Phone will bring to the market?
