No Free Dropbox For Verizon, ATT Galaxy SIII

Galaxy S3

Yes, this news does come as a rather disappointing shock to many Verizon and ATT subscribers who were planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy S3 or those who have already placed their pre-order!

Dropbox confirmed that Verizon and ATT both have opted out of this promotion, usually users get 50GB of free Dropbox space with their Galaxy S3 – which costs around $99. Surely, Verizon and ATT subscribers will miss the free 50GB of cloud space which could be of great use to all!

We do wonder why these carriers took this decision was it the cost of this promotion or high data traffic – only they know! However, it’s not a welcome decision at all!

With America’s largest 4G LTE network which covers 190 markets and 200 million people, Verizon Wireless is now making moves to make their stance on 4G permanent. The carrier is planning for all devices in the future to have the 4G feature, a pretty tough requirement considering that the recent iPhone 4S would be ineligible for the list.
