It seems that photos of many devices are leaking before their launch these days. The Galaxy S II for Sprint was set to launch on Tuesday but official images for this model have leaked. Reports from earlier this month said that Sprint will dub this device the “Epic Touch 4G“.

The photo reveals an 8 mega pixel camera as well as a Sprint logo on the backside. We also expect this device to come loaded with a dual-core 1GHz processor, a forward facing 2 mega pixel camera for video chats, and a Super AMOLED Plus display. Although the device is already available in other parts of the world, Sprint will be the first carrier to launch the device in the U.S. We’ll just have to wait and see if the Samsung Galaxy S II is as sucessful here as it was in the rest of the world.
