Although there was some disappointment in the unveiling of the iPhone 4S, there was still no slowdown in pre-orders of the device. And now the day is here when the device will finally be launched. In only a few short hours Apple will be opening their doors and some lucky folks will finally have the new iPhone 4S in their hands.
Other parts of the world have already experienced the iPhone 4S launch and the massive lines that come with it. Even four hours after the launch, the line in Sydney was going half way down the massive King Street. Apple employees are expecting nothing less at the Apple stores in the U.S.
Even though Apple’s new iPhone isn’t completely resigned, it does come with some pretty cool upgrades from the iPhone 4. The new device comes packed with Apple’s A5 dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera, 1080p video capture and the Siri voice enabled personal assistant.
Apple will swing their doors open at 8 a.m. today to launch their new device. Verizon, AT&T and Sprint stores will also be stocking the iPhone 4S, but they usually tend to get fewer units per store than Apple’s stores. Radio Shack, Best Buy, Target and Sam’s Club may have units, but it may vary on location. If you’re planning on getting your hands on Apple’s new iPhone 4S, hopefully you’re already in line.
