HTC One S going to Asian markets with a 1.7 GHz CPU confirms HTC

HTC One S
Well, this may sound like HTC jacked up the specs of the much anticipated HTC One S, sadly that is not the case – HTC One S was announced this year at MWC in Spain, on announcement it was supposed to be powered by Snapdragon S4 CPU – however due to sever shortage of the said processor and enormous delays in bringing the HTC One S to the market has forced HTC to downgrade to Snapdragon S3 which has 200Mhz more processing power, however has a much older threading structure compared to the new generation of S4 processors.

HTC One S will hit some mainstream Asian markets like India on June 15th with the said downgrade, though HTC confirmed this; but they insist that this will not have any effect on the performance of the mid-segment Android device. We certainly do hope so!
