Facebook for Android v1.9.7 uses front-facing camera also has new messaging features

Facebook for Android has been updated to version 1.9.7, the latest version lets you use the front-facing camera to take photos (of course your phone needs to have the camera in the first place!). This update is only for Android 2.2 and above devices below that are not supported – which is interesting to see! Also this version brings new messaging features – which in a way combine Facebook messenger within the app. Read the change log below for details.

New Features of Facebook for Android v1.9.7

  • Click the arrows icon on the top in camera mode to use the front-facing camera
  • Quickly switch between multiple conversations
  • Include friends of friends in conversations
