Nokia has finally launched the much awaited mid-range Symbian phone Asha 311, it is their first full-touch Series 40 phone in India. Asha 311 has 3.0-inch (240 x 320 pixels), capacitive touch screen Polarized display for better readability in sunlight, 1GHz processor and comes with 3G support. It has 3.2 MP primary shooter and runs on S40 Asha OS with Swipe interface.
The Nokia Asha 311 is priced at Rs. 7,130 and would go on sale in India starting August 12th. This launch will help Nokia gain some lost territory as it is still the leader in the entry level and mid-range devices in India (tough to believe, but true!).
