Are you ready for a 12 megapixel camera phone? Samsung announced this phone earlier in the week at CommunicAsia 2009 conference in Korea. The Samsung Pixon 12 M8910 is a 12 megapixel camera phone with full AMOLED touch screen. For you photography enthusiasts this is good news. The phone features many digital photography functions which let you capture, browse and share images and videos while on the go on a full-touch 3.1 inch bright screen.
The dedicated camera power key gives you one-touch access to the camera function. After switching on you can go ahead and aim and shoot. Image saving is fast so you can get ready for the next picture instantly.
The Touch Auto-Focus (AF) tracking maintains focus on the object even when it moves across the screen and the Smart Auto features lets you capture images while the camera adjusts the scene and mode based on background, object and lighting conditions.
The fun does not end here. Share the photos with friends by uploading to networking sites like Facebook, Picasa, MySpace, Photobucket etc. instantly via the phones Wi-Fi and HSUPA capabilities.
Being more of a camera than a phone the Pixon 12’s phone features match that of other new Samsung phones. Pixon 12 has a 3.1 AMOLED touch screen display and the camera comes equipped with Xenon and power LED flash, and 28 mm wide angle lens.
It also features Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, dual-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio with RDS.
This phone will be hitting Europe at the end of this month but no word yet on US release date.
