When you want to access important content, there will be no need to hunt through menus. Use widgets on the HTC Hero to keep them on your home screen itself and access it with a click.
Another feature ’scenes’ converts your phone to many phones. You can switch between scenes according to the moment, mood and time. Catch precious moments with HTC Footprints, or make Hero a weekend phone and relax with some music, or when traveling get travel tips, weather info and maps from the same phone.
HTC Hero keeps you connected at all times with people who matter most. No need to use a phone, email, and network updates etc. You can view people and find ways to contact them at that moment, get all your emails to personal and work accounts and check social network updates and event notices by a click. What more to ask for with Hero being an ultimate communication device.
Type a few letters of your friend’s name and get the phone to dial the number. You can search for anything. The Search button goes through Twitter, locates people in your list, finds emails and also looks for appointments in your calendar.  View pictures on photo sharing sites too. Your album is not just a collection of photos on the phone but leads to online collections on Facebook or Flickr.
The phone is expected to be launched this month across Europe in July and in Asia after a few months.
