WebMD launches new iPhone app for physicians

Announced today, Medscape Mobile is a free medical application in a convenient mobile format that can be accessed on demand on the iPhone and iPod touch. With this tool doctors can access:
1. a comprehensive drug database with over 6,000 generic and brands (as well as herbal and supplements);
2. a drug interaction checker that allows you to check 30 different interactions between drugs, herbals and supplements; and
3. directories with 400,000 phyisicans, 57,000 pharmacies and 6,000 hospital listings
