Metromix’s “What’s Nearby” lets iPhone users know about local attractions. Consumers can avoid long journeys to factory outlets and other fun filled areas when some thing interesting or a grand sale could be happening just a walking distance away. It seems to be a green option too.
If you’re on-the-go and wish for a quick bite, then this app lets you find the nearest eating joint from your GPS position details. Don’t feel like going home? Then just search for nearby entertainment options. You can even post reviews and pictures to Metromix.com from your iPhone besides sharing them on Facebook and Facebook Connect.
Metromix’s “What’s Nearby” iPhone application can be downloaded to your iPhone and iPod Touch from the Apple App Store. Detailed reviews, photos and opinions are offered to you through OpenTable which provides the restaurant reservation facility and GrubHub provides takeout ordering kind of restaurants details.
