Sprint getting fans excited about Palm Pre

Sprint Nextel has started rolling out Palm Pre marketing bit by bit and are hoping to get everyone even more excited about the most anticipated device of the year. 

The Palm Pre is something of a mix between the BlackBerry with a full QWERTY keyboard and the Apple iPhone with its touch screen technology.

With a brand new operating system, Palm is hoping to hit it big with the new device. Sprint is going to have exclusivity of the Palm Pre but its not yet clear for how long. Although Palm and Sprint have always had a good relationship together, Sprint has lost many customers since the merger with Nextel. Basically, it’s a risky move on Palm’s part but both the carrier and manufacturer are hoping to pull off a Cinderella story and are hoping for a turnaround.  

As far as Palm Pre is concered, there is still no official annoucement on the actual release date and price though we suspect it will be no more than the $199 price point and will be released sometime in this 2nd quarter of 2009.
