All the hype over the white T-Mobile G1 is well deserved. I just got mine and although it isn’t completely white (the back is actually like a dull silver metallic shade), it is already definitely getting noticed. 

The store manager at the T-Mobile store said that the shade just came in a couple of days ago in limited quantity. The other thing was that the reason there was a delay in launching the white T-Mobile G1 was because the paint was actually chipping off. 

Imagine that! I mean I know that the G1 is not HTC’s best handset ever but still …. I was a little shocked to hear such a story.

Regardless, I have the phone now and I’m all set and ready to get my cloud-computing on.
