The Over The Air update is only 12.6MB and Apple says that it will only fix a single bug; “Fixes and Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.” There are no mentions of any security updates so jailbreaks should not have an issue, but Evasi0n has just released Evasi0n 1.4 for iOS 6.1.2 devices. No word on whether or not the security passcode bug has been fixed either and Apple has remained mum on the matter.
Recent rumours suggest that Apple may be preparing an update to fix recent vulnerabilities in iOS 6.1.1′s security.
The update is rumoured to come early next week, before February 21, to fix bugs with connecting to Microsoft’s Exchange servers as well as fix the bugs in users’ lockscreens that would allow anyone to access their contacts and photos. The update is rumoured to already be in its testing phase and has been sent to carriers to ensure it is rolled out soon. The update is expected to work on all the recent iOS 6 supported devices including the Apple iPad, Apple iPod Touch and the Apple iPhone devices.

Troubled BlackBerry makes RIM is still in news, this time because omages of 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook has surfaced on a Vietnamese website. The BlackBerry roadmap that leaked also mentioned a 10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook scheduled for Q3 2013. It is supposed to take on the iPad, if it ever makes it to the market.
Supposedly the 10-inch PlayBook will come with a SIM card slot at the back that would support 3G/HSPA+ and 4G networks. This, might just be a prototype and the model may have been cancelled, only time will tell.
