No Free Dropbox For Verizon, ATT Galaxy SIII

Galaxy S3

Yes, this news does come as a rather disappointing shock to many Verizon and ATT subscribers who were planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy S3 or those who have already placed their pre-order!

Dropbox confirmed that Verizon and ATT both have opted out of this promotion, usually users get 50GB of free Dropbox space with their Galaxy S3 – which costs around $99. Surely, Verizon and ATT subscribers will miss the free 50GB of cloud space which could be of great use to all!

We do wonder why these carriers took this decision was it the cost of this promotion or high data traffic – only they know! However, it’s not a welcome decision at all!

Although Verizon will support devices from BlackBerry and Windows Phones, they will most likely be required to have 4G LTE built-in to be eligible. Read more
