The future of Nokia is still uncertain, but at least their latest unveiling is a step in the right direction. Nokia has just announced the E6, X7, and their new Symbian OS version called “Anna.” Business users can look towards the E6 with its full QWERTY keyboard, 2.46-inch 640 x 480 pixel touchscreen display, 8-megapixel camera, and 1500 mAh battery. The sleeker X7 features a 4-inch 640 x 360 resolution AMOLED screen, 8GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel camera, and is made of stainless steel and glass.
Both of these phones will also run the new version of Symbian which seems to be a solid improvement over the older ones. Nokia says, “This update offers a host of usability enhancements, including fresh, new icons, improved text input, a faster internet browsing experience and a refreshed Ovi Maps application with improved search and new public transport routes.” These phones are scheduled to launch at the second quarter of this year, but have no pricing as of yet.
