Palm Pre launching with great Google support

In some great news by Google, the upcoming Palm Pre Web OS will come in with great build-in functionality for all of the popular Google solutions: Search, Maps and Youtube along with synchronization for Gmail, Calendar and Contacts. That’s all well and dandy, but all these functions are also implemented into the Palm Pre’s Universal Search Feature, meaning you can type in a location into Universal Search for instance and have Google Maps pull up the location, although there isn’t much details yet on how the other Google features will be implemented into Universal Search, we are definitely excited to see Google hop on the Pre bandwagon so early with their support, and according to them we can look forward to more support in the future thanks to WebOS apparently making porting these features a breeze. Finally some good news for Pre fans from some high up developers.
